Between 17 and 19 January, some of the leading historians on the First World War will be gathering in Ottawa to discuss various aspects of the war and its legacy. Speakers will include Jack Granatstein, Tim Cook, Catriona Pennell, Margaret MacMillan and Michael Neiberg among many others. LCMSDS will also be represented by Lyndsay Rosenthal, Kandace Bogaert and Mark Humphries who will be speaking on venereal disease, wounded ex-servicemen and the 1918 influenza pandemic, respectively. A full list of speakers can be found here. Cost for the full conference is $175 and $125 for students, seniors, and members of CWM. One-day registration is $100 and $75 for students, seniors and members. Tickets can be purchased online.
