34th Annual MacKinnon Dinner, Dr. Jack Granatstein, “Canda’s Hundred Day Offensive in World War One.”

March 10 at the Charcoal Steakhouse

The University of Waterloo History Society hosts an annual dinner in the memory of Hugh MacKinnon. The MacKinnon Dinner is for students, faculty, family, friends, and anyone interested to come together and enjoy good food, drink, and discussion around a central topic each year. This year the History Society has invited Dr. Jack Granatstein to come and speak on the Canadian Hundred Days Offensive during the First World War. This topic has been chosen due to student interest, and in recognition that this year, 2018, is the centennial of the First World War’s ending. Doors open at 6:00 PM. Tickets are available for $40 (cash or cheque) from the History Department at UW (Hagey Hall 153) between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM Monday to Friday; if you’re coming to collect your ticket between 12:00 and 1:00 PM please let someone know in advance by email (provided below).

If you are interested please contact [email protected], or come to the University of Waterloo Main Campus, Hagey Hall 153 and see Anne Leask to buy tickets.
