In her role as Publications and Administrative Coordinator, Caitlin McWilliams is responsible for assisting the Director with the development and implementations of research initiatives, publications, public outreach, and fundraising. Caitlin completed a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Windsor in both History and English in 2009, and completed her MA in History from Wilfrid Laurier University in 2010 under the supervision of Dr. Roger Sarty. Her publications include “Camraderie, Morale, and Material Culture: Reflections on the Nose Art of No. 6 Group Royal Canadian Air Force,” Canadian Military History 19, no. 4 (August 2010). Caitlin was also a co-author on 1812: A Guide to the War and its Legacy. Drawing on her educational and battlefield touring experience as well as her photography talent, she scouted, wrote, edited and/or added photographs to parts of every tour section in the guide.
