Lend Your Leg 2018

Help us commemorate International Landmine Awareness Day by taking part in Lend Your Leg Laurier on the WLU campus on March 21. Learn about the adverse effects landmines cause while showing solidarity with all survivors of landmines worldwide!

The Centre is a proud sponsor of the 2018 annual ‘Lend Your Leg Laurier’ day, as well as a long-time partner of fellow sponsor Canadian Landmine Foundation (CLMF). CLMF president Dr. Alastair Edgar will be speaking on the panel at 1 pm, alongside Project Ploughshares program officer Branka Marijan.

Schedule for the day:

9:00am-12pm: Pancake and coffee sale outside of Mac House and poster making in the concourse

12pm-12:30pm: Rally and march around campus

1pm-2pm: Speaker series panel in the Turret
