Join the Wellington County Museum as they welcome back Professor Terry Copp for their Second Annual Military Lecture Series.

November 7 – Part 1: From a Dark Sky: 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion on D-Day

November 14 – Part 2: Canada’s Longest Day: Juno Beach 6 June 1944

As we approach the 70th anniversary of D-Day and the Liberation of France in 1944, Terry Copp, Canada’s leading historian of the Normandy campaign will present two lectures on the Canadian role on D-Day. A new edition of Terry’s best selling book, Fields of Fire, with a new introduction, will be published in time for the anniversary.

Lecture will be held in the Aboyne Hall, Wellington County Museum and Archives, at 7:00pm.

Admission will be by donation.
