Wednesday Video: Debating Drones

During the past decade, the usage of unmanned aerial vehicles within modern conflict has increased exponentially, generating extensive debates over the dehumanization of warfare and the civilian casualty rates that can occur.

The first video features Republican Peter King and Democrat Lynn Woolsey discussing the advantages and disadvantages of using drones both domestically as protection and externally as tools of warfare. In the second video, President Barack Obama addresses the strict American criteria for drone usage, and its role as one of many different military tools.
